For over 16 years, caring for orphans and vulnerable children has been at the heart of our mission. Together with our partners in over 26 countries, we are transforming lives affected by conflict, loss, poverty, and poor health.
What We’re Doing Around the World
In Mali, we’re helping children from rural areas access quality education.
In Yemen, we support children with psychosocial care, protection services, and nutrition programmes amid one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises.
In Bosnia, we are opening doors to higher education for orphaned youth.
In Gaza, we’re working to keep education alive and improve access to livelihoods, despite poverty and ongoing trauma.
In Bangladesh, we provide girls in remote areas with bicycles and school supplies to keep them in education safely and confidently.
What Support Do Orphans Need Most?
Many orphaned children lack the fundamentals of life: clean water, food, shelter, medical care, and a safe place to learn and play. These are not luxuries - they’re basic human rights. Yet for millions, they remain tragically out of reach.
The most urgent needs vary depending on each child's situation, but malnutrition, water-borne illness, lack of access to education, and trauma from conflict are common threads. In conflict zones, children are especially in need of psychosocial support and protection.
